    no cars and people went to the Church in a pony and trap. And also in the olden times people wore costumes and hats they never wore long dresses and veils like the modern people and modern times. A few of the old sayings are marry in white and you will do what is right. Marry in grey and you will live far away. Marry in green and your not fit to be seen, marry in red you will wish yourself dead, marry in brown and you will live out of town.
