    Sheela Buidhe na Sgian lived in a castle at Hollyhill about two miles south-east of Rathcormac. The ruins of the castle may still be seen in the yard of Mr. Daniel Daly, farmer, Hollyhill.
    The people of the neighbourhood gave their treasures to Sheela for safe keeping in her strong castle. As she was growing old she became covetous for the people's treasures. One day she hired two masons and told them to build for her an underground chamber. They set to work at once and Sheela supervised the operations. When the chamber was completed all the treasures were buried in it carefully and the opening sealed. She then beheaded the mason's
