    The 5th July was the last fair that was held in Mallow. My father took four cattle there. About a mile outside the town he met a jobber "How much" he asked.
    "£32.10s" My father answered. "They are not worth it", said the man. My father, striking the cattle, drove on to Mallow. He was waiting for an hour before any other buyer came to him. The fair was bad the same day. The same jobber came again. "Here, I will give you £32 for them" said he. My father agreed. The buyer marked a ticket
