- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)There is a Fort in Ballinnaratha. It is about three quarters of a mile from this school. The way to go to the Fort from this is.
Go back the "Glen Road". Keep on the straight road and do not turn up the "Cille hill". Keep walking for about half a mile after passing the "Cille hill". Then you would come to a place where the road divides into two parts. There turn to your right. Then you would go up under the "Big Bridge".
About a quarter of a mile from the bridge you would come to a cross of four roads. There the Fort is situated on your left.
It is of about forty five feet long and forty feet wide. It is circular in shape. The wall around it is very high.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
