  1. Long ago the people were very fond of dancing. There was a platform at every cross-roads, and these would often be very near the priest's house. Often the priest would come out and stop them if they continued at it too late at night. One night a priest came and told the man who was playing the music to cease else he would make a goat of him. But the man answered "If you make a goat of me I will eat your cabbage."
    This old saying is on the lips of the people still, and is often said to people who make empty threats.
