    No blight came on the gardens since. The reason the people died was that they had nothing to eat. There was a lot of people in the Workhouse in Skibbereen. They all died and were buried to in one corner of the Abbey Graveyard. Some of the people died by the ditches and in the fields. Some of the people were not buried at all.
