  1. There are alot of cures by the old people around this place. They used cure lots of things long ago themselves and now if you want to cure anything ... it is only to go to the doctor.
    These are some ones that I heard at home. If you have rheumatism, and if a potato is carried in your pocket, it will get better.
    If you would have warts and if you would wash them in the water that would be washing or boiling potatoes that they would vanish.
    If you would have tooth-ache and if you would chew the leg of a frog that it would go away.
    If you would have a head-ache and if you would put a wet towel to your forehead, it would go away.
    If you had corns on your feet and if you put an ivy leaf to them it would get better, or to go get soup and rub it to them put lent to it,
