  1. We have one of the old churns at home it stands about three feet high it is about 12 inches on top and sixteen in the bottom. The sides are round we have it twenty years. The various parts are the wobbler cosheen churn dash and lid and hoops to keep the churn together. We churn once a week. My mother generally does it. It is a custom that strangers who come in help at the churning always because people say that if any one comes in when you are churning and does not
