  1. Buying and Selling.
    Lorries go around the country selling goods, most of the people buy their goods from these lorries. There is a shop in Rahara and another in Ballagh nearly everybody buys their goods in either of those shops.
    There is fair nearly every month in Roscommon for either cattle, sheep or horses. At these fairs the farmer sells whatever stock he has to sell. There is a market in Athlone every Saturday where all sorts of vegetables are sold, fowl is also sold.
    The people here go to fairs in Athlone, Roscommon, Balygar and Knockcroghery.
