   Bless thy little child to.night,
   Through the darkness be thou near me,
   Watch my sleep till morning light,
   All the day, thy hand did lead me,
   And I thank thee for thy care,
   Thou didst clothe me, guard and feed me,
   Listen to my evening prayer.
   Let my sins be all forgiven.
   Bless the friends I love so well,
   Take me when I die to Heaven,
   Happy there with thee to dwell,'' Amen

   This is another little prayer said before going asleep:-

   I must die I do not know when, or where or how; bit if I die in mortal sin I'm lost forever. O Jesus have mercy on me.'' Amen.

   This is a very nice little prayer recited by the old people long ago. ''O Mary my mother and my queen, I take refuge under thy mantle, There will I live and die. Deliver me from sin, and the power of the devil.'' Amen.

   The old people said the following prayer as a morning offering:-
   ''My God I offer Thee this day
   All I shall do, or think
   or say.
   Uniting it with what was done ,
