- People. My native district is called Fallaghmore. There are ten families inhabiting it. There are forty seven people dwelling there at the present time. The most common family name in it is Brennan.
There is an old man living in my district. His name is Mr William Doran. He is eighty four years of age. This man is not a story-teller. He is not an Irish-speaker.
Houses. The majority of the houses in Fallaghmore are thatched houses.
There are only three slated houses in it. Long ago the houses were more numerous than they are now. There are three ruins still remaining in Fallaghmore
Land. The land is very fertile in Fallaghmore, There is no wood in it. There are no rivers in it either.
