  1. This school is situated convenient to Tubrid Cross about an Irish mile west of Clomantagh school.
    It was built by the Protestants for their children. They brought a master named Flynn from Belfast to teach there. I'd say he came about 1874. When he left the school was shut and the children came to Clomantagh Old School.

    Note. Flynn seems to have taught only a couple of years there.
    A few years ago January 1926 the school was again opened and is still in operation - attended only by Protestant children.
