Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)will be granted. The pilgrims perform stations round the well. They first kneel at the white-thorn bush and start the rosary, they next pray above the well and again near the ash tree. This concludes one station, several stations may be performed during one visit to the well. At the north side of the well there is a hole into which the pilgrims put offerings such as hairpins, broaches, or pennies. Finally each pilgrim takes three drinks of water. They also wash sores etc. in the stream.
Many minor cures take place near here from year to year. Some years ago, a woman from Ballingar (8 miles from Elphin) was(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
