My own graveyard.For centuries gone by Kilronan has been the burial place of my ancestors. It is one of the most historical cemeteries in the west of Ireland as here lie the bones of the renowned O'Carolan, the last of the Irish Bards.
This graveyard is situated about a mile from the village of Keadue on the Sligo road in north Roscommon. It was first consecrated by Dr Kilduff Bishop of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise on 25th March 1858. There are many old monuments here: the oldest dating as far back as the 16th century. The first burials were while an order(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
