- (continued from previous page)Clouds:- When the clouds are moving fast in the sky, 'it will not be a good day-so folks say'.
If clouds are black and moving very slowly, this is a sign of rain.
High clouds denote fine weather. Low clouds demote bad weather. In the evening, if red clouds are seen in the South West, good weather will follow.
Rainbow:- A rainbow in the morning denotes a storm or broken weather. A rainbow in the North, in the evening, denotes good weather.
Stars:-If stars are seen falling early in the evening, this is a sure sign of frost and showery weather.
If very bright looking, rain is believed to follow.
If running along the sky, rain is coming.
The old folks say that when the stars are very numerous, frost is near.
Wind:- When wind blows from the South and South West rain is near.
Wind blowing from the North and North East denotes frost.
