    drawn home and stored in houses until they are either used or sold. The different names given to the potatoes are Blue potatoes, Arn Banners, Epicures, King Edwards. In olden times the names of the potatoes were Snow-flakes, Red Elephants and Arn chiefs.
    The potatoes which grow best in the district are Pinks, Arn banners and Arn Victors.
    In olden times the people made starch out of potatoes because at that time they did not know what starch was. This is the way they made the starch. The potatoes were grated and put into water. Then when the water is drained off the starch is at the bottom. This was put
