  1. One very dark night a banshee was heard crying near McEntee's house. The small children of the family were in bed and the wife +husband were in the kitchen when they heard the crying. Then they heard a tiny rap at the door. The wife went to the door, opened it + saw a small woman standing there. The woman immediately disappeared. Next evening word came that the son of the house was dead. McEntee's is near Lionaskee.
