    2. Edenmore N.S. was preceded by a school held where Clerkins shop now is.
    3. Even when Lappin School was opened four or five boys attended a "school" in Tyjholland chapel. Maybe this was a Latin school.
    4. A "Latin" school was held in Annareagh North (Glasslough) in the house of John MacQuaid's great grandfather.
