    A hare to cross the road in front of you is bad luck.
    If you have a hole in your stocking you will get a letter the next day.
    To put boots on the table is the sign of a row in the house.
    If you see two candles lit in the room there is someone going to die belonging to you.
    A whistling maid and a crowing hen brings bad luck to any house they are in.
    If the cock crows in the middle of the night there is someone dead belonging to you.
    If the cuckoo flies over the house there is someone going to die in the house.
