    A woman named Bess Mc Gowan once lived where Captain Gahan lives now. Queer sounds and things were heard and seen there. One night a man was passing by and he heard sounds like thirty horses galloping and about fifeen dogs barking. The man climbed the wall and looked over it but saw nothing, still he heard the sounds, so he went home.
