In Mayhora there is a big hill...

    (continued from previous page)
John Dunne went up to cut a tree. He was cutting a while when he heard a voice saying, "Cut away, cut away," and he did until it was dark, and he then went home. He came the next evening and he heard the same voice so he cut away. He came the next evening to bring home the wood he had cut, in a car, and heard the same voice but did not mind it, only he loaded his car and took it home. As he was going out of the place he met a little man who told him to take back the stick. The man did not mind but took home the sticks, and that night he died in bed, because he did not leave back the sticks, as the little man told him.
