  2. People took a disease called "Black Fever". When Cromwell came to the door of a house he called for the men. The women came out and said there was not a man in the house. Then Cromwell sometimes cut the women's heads off. Cromwell was sometimes afraid to go into the houses after people on account of the Black Fever.
