    Field-Names
    The hatchet-field is in the town land of Corryloan. it got its name for being in the shape of a hatchet.
    Corryloan hill derives its name (for being) from the townland it is situated in.
    The Pocket
    This little low lying field is in the town land of Killycrum. It is so called because it is (lit) in the shape of a pocket under the road.
    The Game Hill.
    In the townland of Oghill. It got its name many years ago because some people used to play cards on top of it.
    The Middle Field
    In Crossduff, got its name because it was in the middle of a farm. Mass used to be said in the middle field in the Penal Times
