- To boil besom and drink its juice is a good cure for rheumatism. To boil a dead mouse and and drink its juice is a good cure for measles. The juice of chicken weed is a good cure for growing pain. Sulphur and lard mixed together is a good cure for ringworm. To boil ivy leaves and rub the juice to corns would cure them. Warts and boils are cured by squeezing the juice of the bainnicín on them. A sting from a Nettle is cured by rubbing a dock leave to it.
