    His daughter danced so good that he swore he would give her anything she would ask him for. She asked her mother. At that time John the Baptist was in prison. Herod's wife hated him and told her daughter to ask her father for his prisoner's head in a plate. John the Baptist was then beheaded. For that reason a feast is held on that night.
