  1. Keash hill which lies south of the school is the most remarkable object in this district. The part this hill has had in the legends and the folk lore of the people, may be inferred from the fact, that it forms the subject of one of the Fenian Tales under the name of bruidhean Céise Corainn the enchanted fort of Ceis Corann. It also figures largely in another of these tales "The Pursuit of Diarmuid and Grainne."
    There is a great difference of opinion as to the origin of the name Keash. Some mantaining that
