    There is a small wood growing on our farm. The wood covers about a half acre of ground.
    A small river passes through Cloonlurg on its way to the Branch field Lakes. There are no lakes in the district.

  2. There are two forges in this parish. The smith in one of the forges is P. Connel and in the other the smith in the other one is William King. Their ancestors were smiths.
    The forge is situated by the roadside near a crossroads. The forge is fairly small and it has a felt roof. There is one fireplace within. The smith does horses and asses, and he makes a good number of farm implements.
