Once upon a time there lived an old man and woman.

Once upon a time there lived an old man and woman. The old man was sick for two years and the woman was always saying that she would rather go in to the coffin herself before the man.
One night four men came in with a coffin on their shoulders. Then one of the men asked would she go in before Paddy and she said "Carry him away and leave me here. I am some good but he is no good." Next day she sold Paddy to a butcher for a bag of bones.
