When people catch the goldfinch they must feed him well to keep him alive. They are generally fed on bird seeds and bread and water.
The bullfinch is a brown bird, with some other colours in him. In Spring when the buds are on the apple trees the bullfinches eat them off. There are many of them shot for doing this.
The crow is a big black bird. They eat worms and seeds and small potatoes. After the farmer sows wheat or oats the crows come around and pick up any seeds they can get. Sometimes we tar the wheat to keep the crows from eating it after is is sowed.
