beautiful eggs. She sits on the eggs for about three weeks.
After Our Lord's Agony in the Garden of Gethsemini he was perspiring blood. He passed through a field in which wheat had been recently down. The drops of blood fell from "Our Saviour" as he walked across the field and by a miracle the wheat sprang up all in one night and was ready for shearing the next day. The Roman Soldiers passed through the field next day and they asked the Robin had "Our Lord" passed by. The robin said that he did not pass since the wheat was sown. The Soldiers thinking they were on the wrong track were returning when the wren flew up and said "the wheat was sown yesterday". The soldiers turned again and never stopped till they came upon "Our Lord". Since then the wren is known as the "Devil's Bird" and the robin is called "God's Bird".
