"Gort Cruinn", This field is so called because it is round. Kitt's farm Lehenagh Castleblakney. The "Sgarraigh" :- Because it is all rocks. The "Cún Eala" :- The "Móinfhéirínfluich :- Because it was a meadow with all water in it. The Cruc na Faithe :- Because it has furze growing on it. The Clochanna :- Because it is all stones. The Crúchán bán :- Because it is a big hill covered with daisies. The names of the streams are, Clais gorm :- Tobar na Lachan :- Lyonses farm Kilfillig Mt. Bellew. Garra bhréad :- Because an old woman named Mairéad lived there. Her house was in a hollow which is in this field. The "Glebe" :- Because there was a protestant school built there one time.
