  2. Sir Fredrick Hamilton came to Ireland in the time of Cromwell. In the North of the town the ruins of his Castle are to be seen yet. He was a bad. He killed Priests, Nuns, and Catholics. There was a woman living near the Castle and she was a spy for Sir Fredrick Hamilton. When she would see the Catholic's coming from Mass she would tell him and he used to kill them. The hill which she watched is now called Shiela Mor's bray. The Castle was burned in the year 1641 by Murtack Mc Sharry and his men. Sir Fredrick was
