Thursday, Friday and Saturday are considered unlucky for marriages and rarely do marriages take place on Sunday. The following little rhime which is handed down from one generation to another carries on the old belief with regard to the lucky and unlucky days. Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the best day of all, Thursday for losses, Friday for crosses and Saturday no day at all.(continues on next page)
