    Matchmaking is the usual procedure which leads to marriages. When a man considers that circumstances permit or that his prospects in life are sufficiently bright to enable him to venture on matrimony he asks the girl to whom he desires to wed or sends a message to her asking her hand in marriage. If he receives a favorable reply he then sends a message to her father or other guardian over her requesting his sanction to the marriage. If he receive a reply that all are satisfied arrangements are then made and a certain night is
