Ar an leathanach seo
- There are three graveyards in this district. One of them is situated in Malin Town. It belongs to the Church of Ireland. The graveyard is flat and low-lying. There are many nice tombs in it.
The other two are situated about three and a half miles further on towards Malin Head. One of these is at the Roman Catholic Church. This graveyard slopes to the south-west and is situated on the side of a hill. The graveyard is big and part of it very old.
The Presbyterian Church graveyard is below sea level.
It is said that during the persecution when Presbyterians were not allowed to build churches, this site was granted by the landlord who was Church of Ireland. He was anxious to supply their needs but afraid to incur displeasure and so he gave them a site below sea level.
In the winter the tide often lashes in and part of the graveyard is submerged for a time.- Bailitheoir
