- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)When it is dried it is teased and then carded. After that it is spun. The carder cards out the wool fine and then makes it up in rolls. The rolls are then spun into yarn.
Thatching is carried on a little also. The houses are nearly always thatched with lint. When the lint is grown it is cut down and left in stooks. Then it dries and when it is dry it is threshed with brakes. It is spread out in some house to bleach and harden. Then it is ready to put on the house. When the house is thatched it is roped.
Rope making is carried on also. The kind of ropes that are made, are made of straw. Of course they are only for roping corn-stacks.- Bailitheoir
