    A cure for a burn is to bathe it with buttermilk or baking soda when the person gets it.
    A cure for a stye in the eye is to get ten goose-berry jags and touch the stye with nine of them and throw the tenth over the left shoulder.
    A cure for a sting of a nettle is to rub the sting with a docked leaf. saying "Docken in and nettle out."
