Now and again as he wandered about he believed he could hear what seemed to be the chatting of a few people.
When he stood to listen to could no longer hear anything.
At last at the end of an hour what appeared to be a mist was lifted and the man was able to walk through the gap which led to his own home. He certainly believed that he was led astray by the fairies.
