There was an accident at Mr Chamber's Kildrum. A boy named David Porter was killed. He was abut eighteen years of age. When he was coming down the pound Brae he was coming so fast that he could not get control of the bicycle and there was a motor car coming from the direction of Derry. Watt was the name of the man who was driving the motor car. David Porter ran straight across the road, and the motor dashed into him and he was killed instantly.
