11/2/38 - Bird-Lore
The most common wild birds I know are the crow, the rook, the robin, the blackbird, the thrush, the swallow, the wren, the mag-pie, the cuckoo, the pigeon and the corn-crake migrate in the Winter. We never see the cuckoo nor the corn-crake migrating. The swallows collect on the telegraph wires in the middle of September and off they go.(continues on next page)- Collector
