    In order to make thread it is necessary to have cards and wool. The cards are little boards with little wire teeth with which the wool is carded and made into long thin rolls. According as the wheel is working the rolls are attached one after the other to make the thread. When the pioran is full the thread is wound off it, into hanks in order to be washed and bleached. There were socks, stockings and cloth made from this wool. This cloth used to be dyed with herbs. It was then sent to the clothier to be pressed. It was then sent to a tailor to be sewn, who used to sew all the cloths with his hand.
