(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)One day a man came out for a day's fishing in the Dodder. After fishing for some time, he sat down to smoke and he saw some gold on the sand. He searched around and found about two ounces. Searches were made afterwards but no more was found. It is a common belief that there is gold in some places in the valley.
