For instance graves are never dug on Monday, because it is said that if you dig a grave on Monday that you would be digging them for the week, or that you would be digging them often during the year.
Wednesday is supposed to be a very lucky day on which to be born, as the old proverb says "Wednesday's child is full of grace" but the child that is born on Tuesday is supposed to be full of woe.
