    and making a frame. Then twigs are placed around the frame by making a U shaped twig and putting it in the crib, this completes the crib.
    When a bird would stand on the U-shaped twig the crib would fall over it making the bird a prisoner.
    Another homemade toy is the snare. First of all four or five strands of light copper wire are got. Then all the strands are twister together. Then a loop is made in the wire then a strong piece of a stick is got and placed in the grounds and one end of the wire is fastened to it. This snare is placed before a rabbit burrow and when the rabbit comes from the hole it puts its head through the loop the wire closing around the neck and choking it.
