  1. In Carrowcullin, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo. there is a green field and a bush of briars in the middle of the field. A man in the village had a dream three nights after another, that there was a pot of gold at the bush of briars in the middle of the green field. The third night he dreamt that his oldest brother had to die before he would get the pot of gold. Then he would not go near it. A good while after that the two brothers were making a fence at the bush of briars. They dug out pots of shells which seemed to be the gold once.
