    The following trades were practiced in this locality long ago, but very few of them are living now
    Weaving. Some years ago a weaver lived out in Drumshee. His name was Owen Ruane. He was a great weaver. At that time all the women could spin. They spun wool into thread, and he weaved it into Blankets. Some of the the Blankets he weaved are in the Parish yet, and according to the old people they will be in this parish for many years more. The farmers grew flax, and the women spun it into thread. This thread was called yarn. The weaver weaved the yarn into
