- One field that I know is Padraig O Doherty. It was called that name because in the olden times there were people living in that field called O Doherty that is the reason that it is called that name from that day to this. The next field has a name which is called Brian O-Warton there were people also living in it and they were called Wartons. Another field is called Macaire Mór which means the big plain.
Liosen is another field and it is called that name because it is a burial place for children.
Cloongoonaugh, is the meadow of the calves. It is said that a man had a house made of timber where his cow and calf were at night and they were eating meadow and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
