  1. I remember the time when all the corn was cut with reaping hooks; and the breakfast brought out in the field to the workers.
    They used to go around in companies that time cutting the corn.
    A man by the name of Davy Fardy who lived in this locality had ten men working with him going around cutting the harvest.
    The food they had was "Sheep's Pap" That is Indian meal boiled in sheep's milk. They call it pap. (The same food is used at present except milk - cow's milk being used instead of sheep's. Indian meal boiled in milk is called "pap")
