About forty years ago a priest from Athgarvan was left an amount of money by a dying man to say Mass for him. Before the priest got time to say the Mass he died and each night after he was seen walking round chapel.
Another priest got to hear this and he went to see him. The ghost priest asked him to say a Mass for him and he said he would serve. Immediately Mass was over the ghost priest vanished and was never seen again.
