    Some years ago a woman went to the church to pray for her only child. The church keeper came round and locked all the doors. When the woman woke up she could not get out so she contented herself by praying. Before morning a priest came out on the altar and lit the candles. He went into the vestry and came out again in investments. He walked up on the altar and turning to the body of the church said, “Is there any here who can serve mass.” He got no answer so he went into the vestry. The frightened woman had to remain till morning,
